Many years ago, Geelong was a dull and quiet regional city. How do I know? I grew up there. So imagine how proud I was to discover the Little Creatures Brewery down on the corners of Fyans St. and Swanston St., South Geelong.
My guys kept commenting how cool this place was and how it reminded them of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. There are free brewery tours for the 12+ age group, indoor and outdoor sand pits for the small kids, and a menu to please most ages.Furniture made of up-cycled pallets and shipping containers. We ordered the Papas Frittas (gluten free) with aioli, and a thin crust pizza. Nice!
Every second Sunday of each month there is an outdoor craft market. We will definitely visit this unusual hub of creative culture in Geelong again.
